Our story
Old-world charm, with a modern twist
Step through our sandstone entrance and the first thing you notice is the collection: antique furniture, classic paintings and prints, glass and crystal wall art and brass that tell the heroic tales of the City of Lakes. Every ceiling carries hand-stencilled Mewar motifs in indigo and gold. No two rooms are decorated quite the same way.
Behind the heritage look is a new, well-run hotel. Rooms are air-conditioned and spotless, bathrooms are modern marble, the Wi-Fi is fast, and a lift takes you all the way to the roof. Business travellers get a proper work desk; families get space; couples get a view.

How to reach The Chronicles Hotel
By air: Maharana Pratap Airport (UDR) at Dabok is about 25 km away — roughly 45 minutes by taxi. We can arrange a pick-up on request.
By train: Udaipur City railway station is 6.5 km away, about 20 minutes by car or auto-rickshaw. Direct trains run from Delhi, Jaipur, Mumbai and Ahmedabad.
By road: The main bus stand is 5.5 km away. Udaipur is about 260 km from Ahmedabad and 400 km from Jaipur on NH48. Free parking is available at the hotel.
